Give your child an early advantage with kids’ golf coaching in Scarisbrick from the specialists. At Southport Golf Academy, we believe that the earlier your child learns the basics, the better the chances if he or she decides to take up the game seriously at a later stage. Ours is the perfect place to start, improve or develop your skills. You can choose between our Par 3 golf course or covered range. We’re located on England’s famous “Golf Coast” and our facilities are within easy reach of some of the greatest links in the country. Whatever level you are at, our pros can help you take your skills to the next level and beyond at your own pace and convenience. We cater to different groups including ladies, individuals, juniors and free tasters. Our kids’ program is a great way to introduce your youngsters to the game and also learn important social and emotional lessons along the way.
Our Junior Golf Academy has been the largest and one of the most successful programmes in the UK. In Scarisbrick, kids’ golf coaching is conducted by specially-trained coaches who undergo DBS checks and regular refresher training programs in child-teaching methods. We encourage parents to check whether all coaches and facilities are certified in Safeguarding Children workshops. They should also have the relevant First Responder’s certification and required qualifications for the job. Our program consists of groups of 10 children with lessons delivered by two PGA/EGTF qualified coaches so that every child gets individual attention and time. Golfing technique is of course the main focus, but along with this, your child gets important lessons in etiquette and rules.
