During 2011/12 improvements to the facilities and the golf course were made to provide our pay and play clients, our members, their guests and all visitors with a good quality course as well as up to date advice on golf equipment, a bespoke club fitting service and repairs, plus state of the art coaching tools including instant video analysis and now our Indoor Performance Centre. All New TEE mats are now installed in May 2018, all simulate the best grass tee options.

Our PGA trained golf coaches offer individual or group lessons for infants, juniors, women and men and we our Junior Coaching Weekend Course are thriving from ages 5 upwards.

A  range of contract memberships are available, including a value for money weekend option which runs from Friday noon until Sunday night. The SGA Golf Club is also open for membership by our contract holders , we are affiliated to the County and to England Golf for CONGU Official Handicapping.

We aim to provide an opportunity to practice all the challenges golfers will encounter on good quality and well-designed 18 hole courses elsewhere in a friendly accessible environment; our job as an academy is to ensure anyone wishing to play the game can enjoy it as much as we do. New accreditation to England Golf and our appointment as a GET INTO GOLF Centre of Excellence means we provide everything for the new golfer as well as a perfect environment for all.

Even our Cafe provided traditional Golfers Needs, (yes bacon butties of the highest order!!!) adjacent to the 1st Tee!
